It works just like a gift registry - the traveler wants to have parts of their tour paid for as a gift. Instead of buying them a sweater or a music CD, you can give them part of their trip to Italy. The traveler has listed their selected trip itinerary for friends and family to contribute toward as a gift. Why should we give something from this trip registry? The traveler has decided to use this registry to help pay for their trip so you know youŐre giving them something they want. ItŐs easy too! Will I be able to send the traveler a card with a message? Yes! After your purchase, you will be able to customize a gift card that can be sent to the traveler. You can also print out your gift card to take to the event if they are having one. ![]() How much is needed for the whole gift? The amount needed for the whole gift (whether it is for 1 or 2 people,) is the amount "Wished For" times the "Each gift" amount. Example: If the "Trip Contribution" lists 40 gifts wished for of $50.00 each that means the whole trip will cost $2,000.00. However, the traveler does not expect anyone to buy them a gift for $2,000.00 and feels more comfortable breaking it down into $50.00 increments. The traveler wants to go on the trip, and feels that any part of the trip given to them would be a wonderful gift! The "still needed" category means this amount is still available to purchase. Please Note: All dollar amounts displayed on this site are in US dollars. If you are viewing this site from outside the United States, please keep currency exchange rates and fees in mind when purchasing a gift. Why not just give them money at an event? Getting envelopes of checks the day before they leave for their vacation won't help pay upfront for the trip. They probably won't even have time to deposit the checks before they leave. Our services provide an accurate accounting of all gifts received. This service allows you to give something that the traveler really wants and will cherish forever. Do I have to be "technically savvy" to use this site? We will guide you through each step- it's easy! And don't worry, you can call, mail or fax in your order too. What is the service fee for? This processing fee allows us to run the website, keep a complete accounting for the traveler, host their "My Trip" website, their blog, their online photo album, and most importantly, this keeps it free for the traveler - after all this is their event! Our service fee eliminates other typical registry costs, such as shipping and gift-wrap charges. In addition, announcement and gift cards are free, and can be downloaded at any time. We understand that your time is valuable. The trip registry saves you time with the comfort and convenience of purchasing a gift from your home or office. Also, there is no hassle of returning or exchanging unwanted gifts. How do I find a traveler's Registry list? From the Home page of the website, enter the travelerŐs last name in the search field and click the "Search" button. Enter as much information as you know and our system will present you with the closest matches. If you need assistance email us or call our customer service center. How do I buy the traveler a gift? First, look through at the trip itinerary the traveler has booked and registered for. Once you decide how much to contribute toward the travelerŐs vacation, follow the simple check out procedure. This allows them have an accurate accounting of all gifts received. Where do the gift monies go? The gift monies go to the travel supplier for payment of the trip. Any additional monies will be transferred to the traveler using the travelers selected form of transfer to spend on their trip as they wish. Is the site secure? We are a Go Daddy secured site to ensure you feel confident when using your Visa, MasterCard, or American Express. We also have a Turbo SSL certificate that tests us daily. Do you store my personal or credit card information? No we do not have access to your credit card info after the purchase. Our own staff cannot see your credit card information. We do not store or sell your personal information. Can I call or fax my order in? Yes, just print out the purchase form, fill it in, and fax it with the summary of your order to 858-433-0500, we will call you once we receive it. If you would like to call in your order, just call 858-433-1506. How do I get my receipt? After your purchase is completed, you will be emailed a receipt. Does the Traveler have a way to see what I have purchased in case they lose my card? Yes, part of our service to the Traveler is to provide them with their own account. They can log in at anytime and view the gifts they have received. Are you a real company? How can I contact you if there is a problem?
